Bring Your Smile Back to Health

Teeth come in all shapes, shades, and sizes. Some are baby teeth. Some are senior teeth. And lots of them are in-between teeth. We love them all. No matter what age or stage your smile is in, it is in danger every day! The dangers come in all shapes and sizes too – a football, a tacky piece of taffy, a popcorn kernel, stress, medication, brushing a little too vigorously… the list could go on and on.

No matter what the cause, no matter how young or old you are, when teeth break, crack, decay, or are lost, we are right here to bring you back to total health with restorative dentistry from Hester Dental.

Restorative dentistry can involve just one procedure like a filling, or a combination of procedures like root canals, oral surgery, crowns, and even implants. And because no smile is alike, every single treatment is customized to meet your individual needs. One-size-fits-all dentistry just isn’t good enough for our patients!

If you need more than simple restorations, we will work with you to come up with a plan that will not only lead to ideal health, but will also fit in your schedule and your budget. We offer payment plans through CareCredit, Lending Club, and Wells Fargo Patient Financing so you don’t have to sacrifice your health in favor of your wallet.

You can also be sure that we will keep you relaxed and soothed during even the most complicated treatment. Just snuggle under one of our blankets, let us administer a little nitrous oxide, and drift off into a pleasant, relaxed state while we take care of all your dental restoration needs.

Fillings

No one likes to discover that they need a filling, but fillings remove infection and prevent future pain that you might have otherwise experienced. First, we shower every patient, especially the little ones, with care and compassion and offer little extras to help you relax. Even better, we use tooth-colored materials to fill those cavities so no one can see the repair. It blends right in with your tooth! Also, metal-free or composite fillings are not subject to expansion and contraction with oral temperature changes, so your tooth is less likely to crack.

Porcelain Inlays & Onlays

If your tooth needs a little more support than a simple filling can offer, we recommend porcelain inlays or onlays for beautiful, durable, strengthening tooth restoration. Smaller than crowns and made entirely of pure, enamel-like porcelain, dental inlays cover and patch the inside of your tooth, while dental onlays also cover one or more cusps (point) of your tooth.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are our strongest restoration and are best for broken, severely decayed, worn-down teeth. They completely cover the top tooth surface, essentially creating a strong, new tooth. We offer a variety of crowns depending on your particular needs and where the crown will be placed in your smile. Our metal-free crowns include eMax and Zirconia crowns, while our porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns are created with only the finest, noble metals including gold, platinum, palladium, and silver. Either way, you can be certain that your crowns will renew your smile in a beautiful and lasting way.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is exactly what it sounds like: A device that bridges a gap in your smile with natural-looking replacement teeth. Dental bridges use crowns to hold an artificial tooth or teeth securely in place. These crowns are bonded to the healthy teeth on either side of the gap. Depending on your case, we will use either our metal-free crowns, or porcelain fused to high noble metal. Dental implants can also be used to support a bridge. Bridges let you get back to life, eating, smiling, and speaking with confidence. If you are missing teeth and tired of your removable denture, talk to us about our beautiful and comfortable dental bridges.

Partials & Dentures

When larger sections of your smile are missing, partial or full dentures are the most convenient way to replace your teeth. But these aren’t just any old dentures; these are Hester Dental Dentures! Our dentures are designed to do more than just fill in the gaps where teeth are missing. We measure your bite and jaw so that your dentures really fit your face and feel balanced and comfortable. We also work with you to make sure your dentures are also cosmetically pleasing with the right tooth shape and length to keep you looking youthful. We also offer implant-supported dentures. Patients tell us they are life-changing!

Implants

Implants are great options for a permanent solution to a missing tooth or several teeth. For more information, please read more on our Implant Dentistry page.

Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy)

Did you know that Root canals actually stop your pain? Not only do they give you tremendous relief, they also let you keep your own, precious tooth! That’s right: Teeth that are badly infected or even abscessed, can be saved instead of being pulled! And the procedure is also a lot less mysterious than people think. We simply open your tooth (like prepping for a filling), clean out all the infected tissue in your root canals (that’s what the procedure is named after!), fill them, and top it all off with a crown.

Oral Surgery

In the event that a tooth does need to be removed, it is nice to know that you can have your tooth extracted by a dentist you know and trust. While extractions are never anyone’s first choice, we will make sure your oral surgery is comfortable, effective, and expertly completed. And because we want the very best for our patients, major oral and maxillofacial surgery and wisdom teeth removals are always referred to a trusted specialist.
